First Blog - Yeah very original I know!

So, this is my first blog and I have been hounded my my best bud Jeff to blog for awhile now. I figured that since he has helped me in a lot of ways this is the least that I could do to make him happy. I am sure that some of you will follow me for a little while, but then get tired of me complaining, but here goes.......

This past weekend I accomplished many things, one being finishing my Christmas shopping. Yes, I do realize that we are only into the second week of November, but if you knew me well you would wonder why I wasn't done sooner. I am a serious shopper and I know that I got great deals and I didn't even have to wait till Black Friday. I mean seriously, who want to wake up at the butt crack of dawn to stand outside in the cold and then get trampled on to get the last T.V.?? To me it is not worth it. Also, since I am all done I can enjoy my weekends during the holiday season. My family and friends have many things on our calendars that we want to do like gingerbread houses for example. I just don't see why people wait till the last minute. This also brings me to another important question. Why do people wait until Dec. 24th at 7:50 p.m. to shop when the store closes at 8 p.m?? Then you get yelled at by the customer, "Why are you closing so early, it's Christmas Eve." EXACTLY, it's Christmas Eve and I would like to spend time with my family, unlike you. This has happened to me in the past when I worked at one retail establishment. It just really burns me, apparently your family and friends aren't important enough to you if you wait until the last minute.
